Care Guide
Because your parasol canopy is made of high-grade polyester, it may arrive with fold lines from the packaging. Simply open the parasol in a dry area and leave it for 48 hours to allow the creases to smooth out naturally.
To ensure your parasol remains upright and safe, the correct base is essential.
Freestanding: If the parasol is standing alone, a minimum 25kg base is required to prevent tilting or lifting.
Table Use: If the parasol is being placed through a central hole in a heavy garden table, a 20kg base is generally sufficient for stability.
Pole Fit: The pole diameter is 32mm. Ensure your base has a tightening bolt or an adapter specifically for 32mm poles. If the fit is too loose, the parasol may tilt, putting unnecessary stress on the frame.
Your parasol is designed as a premium sunshade.
Wind: Even a moderate breeze can catch a 250cm canopy. Always close the parasol when the wind picks up.
Rain: While the polyester is water-resistant, it isn’t designed to withstand heavy rain. If the parasol does get caught in a downpour, leave it fully open until it is completely dry. Storing a damp parasol can lead to fabric mildew and damage to the wood grain.
Spot Cleaning: For dust, pollen, or marks, use a soft sponge with warm, mild soapy water.
Maintain the Finish: Do not use bleach, biological detergents, or stiff scrubbing brushes. These can strip the UV-protective coating and reduce the color fastness of the fabric.
Wood Care: Simply wipe the beechwood pole with a clean, dry cloth to remove any outdoor grit.
When not in use, the best way to keep your parasol looking new is to use the provided carry bag.
UV Protection: Storing it in the bag prevents unnecessary sun exposure when not in use, keeping the colors vibrant for longer.
Dry Environment: Store the bagged parasol in a cool, dry place (such as a garage or shed). Avoid damp environments to protect the integrity of the FSC beechwood.
Acacia is a dense, durable hardwood famous for its rich grain. As a natural product, it "breathes" with the environment. You may notice small hairline cracks or slight color changes—these are normal characteristics of organic wood and do not affect the chair's strength.
Your chairs arrive with a factory-applied protective coat. However, to prevent the wood from drying out and to maintain its glow:
Annual Refresh: Once or twice a year, apply a thin coat of Hardwood or Teak Oil using a soft, lint-free cloth.
Application: Ensure the wood is clean and dry before applying. Wipe away any excess oil after 15 minutes to ensure a non-tacky finish.
The seat is hand-woven from high-quality synthetic rattan, designed for comfort and weather resistance.
Routine Cleaning: Use a soft brush or vacuum attachment to remove dust from the weave.
Deep Clean: For spills, use a soft cloth with a mixture of warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or pressure washers, which can damage the tension of the fibers.
The folding design is your best tool for preservation. To keep your chairs looking new for years:
Inclement Weather: Fold and move the chairs to a sheltered area during heavy rain or storms.
Winter Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (like a shed or garage) during the off-season. Avoid overly heated indoor spaces, as extreme low humidity can cause natural wood to contract.
Occasionally check the folding pivot points and screws. A quick tighten with a screwdriver once a season ensures the frame remains sturdy and smooth to operate.
